While daily politics has returned to business as usual, the profound echoes of the pandemic remain. This project breaks the silence not with accusations, but with curiosity. It is a worldwide documentary protocol by Nicola Walter, featuring scientific analysis by Prof. Dr. Rolf Verres.
A Diagnosis, not a Verdict.
Five years have passed. While the acute threat has receded, a strange silence prevails. We call this "Global Amnesia" - a collective mechanism to cope with the past. Instead of seeking a political reckoning, we ask a constructive question: Have we truly understood the mechanisms of this crisis well enough to protect future generations?

This project is not a memoir. It is a historical protocol of resilience. We contrast political decisions with real-life experiences worldwide - from the surplus of the West to the challenges of the Global South - to ensure that the history of this crisis helps us build a more resilient future.

THE AUTHOR
Nicola Walter is a documentary author based in Mannheim, Germany. Following his acclaimed volumes "Heidelberger Helden" (Heidelberg Heroes) and "Deutschland in Corona-Zeiten" (Germany in Corona Times), he now turns his focus to the global stage. His work is driven by a clear mission: To look where politics looks away and to give a voice to the people behind the statistics.
THE SCIENTIFIC ANCHOR
Prof. Dr. med. Rolf Verres is a Specialist in Psychotherapeutic Medicine and former Medical Director at Heidelberg University Hospital. He provides the scientific and philosophical framework for the project, analyzing the long-term effects of our collective silence.
